Ottawa’s creative community had historically been disconnected and hard to find. In 2011 we applied to have Ottawa join the global creative community - Creative Mornings - and were granted the 26th chapter of the global movement which now numbers hundreds of host cities.

Every single month we brought a growing movement together for coffee, breakfast and an inspirational creative talk. Throughout this process we built new personal and corporate connections in the city with speakers, sponsors, and hundreds of regular attendees to help incubate a wave of support for the growing creative community.

Now, Creative Mornings Ottawa has celebrated over a decade of monthly events, created thousands of new relationships, and is an integral part of Ottawa’s creative scene.
